Maloskalsko boat and scooter hire

The Maloskalsko hire centre offers canoes and rafts to take down the Jizera River. Boats can be hired all along the Jizera, from Podspálov to the confluence with the Elbe.

The boats available are a three-seater Samba canoe, a two-seater Vydra canoe and six-seater Colorado or Ontario rafts made by the Czech company Gumotex. 

The prettiest and most popular section starts in Mala Skála and ends in Dolánky near Turnov. The Jizera flows very nicely along this stretch, meandering through a green valley and including the only officially navigable weir in Mala Skála. The journey down the river takes no longer than 2.5 hours and is also suitable for complete beginners.
Scooter hire
Top-quality Kostka scooters available for hire in various sizes and models. So, if you have little children with you, you can take a scooter with an extra seat on the handlebars, while if you’re here with your dog, a scooter adapted to take a lead is a good choice. The scooters are only hired out along with boats, to get back from Dolánky to the starting point. You can enjoy a fun 7-kilometre ride on a scooter, which takes around 1 hour, along the Greenway Jizera cycle trail, which is mostly along flat ground.

In the spring and autumn we offer cut-price rates for school trips or corporate events.
