Dlaskův statek is a typical example of 18th-century Turnov-type traditional folk architecture. The timbered Dlaskův statek farmstead with its typical Pojizeří gable and built-on gallery has been a National Cultural Monument of the Czech Republic since 2010. By the entrance to the farmstead there is a multi-story timbered storage shed, which was moved here from Malý Rohozec in the 1960s.
Since 1967 the entire site has been part of the Museum of the Bohemian Paradise in Turnov, which opened the building up to the public. It now houses a permanent exhibition of the folk interior and home crafts in the Pojizeří region, as well as temporary themed exhibitions. The courtyard, surrounded by a unique beamed wall, comes alive several times a year, especially at Easter, consecrations and carnivals, traditional folk festivities.
