Jičín Regional Museum offers several different tours of its permanent exhibitions. The first covers the eight rooms of the local history exhibition and explores the history and nature of the Jičín region. The second takes you up into the church tower, which was never completed - to the lord’s oratory. The third leads into the courtyard with its arcades, and the museum corridor now also holds temporary exhibitions. The fourth tour continues into three rooms, the most interesting of which is the Conference Room, which is dedicated to the year 1813 and the meetings of the anti-Napoleonic coalition. The Baroque Masters Gallery was also opened in 2011, featuring the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary, an exclusive installation of pictures by Karel Škréta. So, visitors to Jičín Museum can choose from four different tours to explore.
