This museum dates back to 2012 and, besides over 2500 historical knives from all over Czech Solingen, its most interesting exhibits also include old knife machines, such as a hand-operated sharpener. The museum also features historical office supplies.
The exhibition is focused on the history of knife making and small-scale industrial production in the Bohemian Switzerland region. It also includes a screening of a historical documentary film about the Mikov factory.
Visitors to the museum can also buy all goods from the Mikov range in the shop, which is on the ground floor of the Town Information Centre.
