Pravčice Gate (Pravčická brána) is the largest natural sandstone arch in Europe.
It is located at the Czech-German border about 20 kilometres to the north of the town of Děčín at an elevation of 415 metres. The arch has a span of 26.5 metres, is 16 metres high and its thickness ranges from 7 to 8 metres. Created by lateral erosion of the sandstone promontory projecting from the plateau, Pravčice Gate (Pravčická brána) quite rightly ranks among the greatest landmarks of the Czech Switzerland (České Švýcarsko).
