Děčín ZOO

The exotic fauna and nature of Bohemian-Saxon Switzerland. One of the most charming zoos in Bohemia, it is not very large, but tastefully set into a forest park on the top of the Pastýřská stěna massif. It is home to 110 species of animals, some of which cannot be found in any other zoo in the country. The biggest hit is the impressive bear run, while the water birds and the new badger run are also popular. There’s plenty of fun and games here for the children – with a climbing castle, a monkey ropeway, a chamois mini wall, a huge board game, wooden animal sculptures, games about animals and a petting corner, where the animals can be stroked and fed.
