Built in 1886, the aqueduct carried water from the Chřibská Kamenice river via a long canal to Florian Hübel’s weaving mill in Dolní Chřibská, constructed between 1884 and 1894. The water flowed through a channel roughly one metre wide from the intake point on the Chřibská Kamenice. From there, the water ran through a channel around 250 long to the first short tunnel hewn into the rock. It then crossed a twin-arch stone aqueduct. In the next section the water flowed through a stone tunnel some 140 m long, that opened out into the former factory site. The total length of the system is around 800 m.
